Thanks for the attitude everyone! My spirits are buoyed a bit. You people are simply the best. I carried you with me today. It was a joyous run.
I did 8 miles today.
I ran for 1 hr and 41 minutes.
(If you care about the pace, you'll have to do the math for yourself AND you're probably reading the wrong blog.)
I. ROCK.

I have mad respect for anyone that can bounce back after an ice-packed adventure like yesterdays. I hurt just thinking about it!
Thank you for spreading the joy my ways Nancy - you're like sunshine from afar :-)!!!
You gorgeous thing! Over course you rock! (Well done.)
Wow...8 miles, Nancy? That's incredible. I haven't even gotten up to 8 myself yet. Will try tomorrow though. Congrats on your great run!
8 miles is a great run, no matter the pace. Running for 1:41:andsomeseconds is amazingly good. It wasn't all that long ago that I thought that was just too ridiculously impossible for me to even consider.
You do rock!
Way to go Nancy! Keep it up!
Congrats on going long... I am really looking forward to mine tomorrow.
Best of luck with the training and by my calculations you ran at a 8:15 pace... sweet.:-)
*THUD* I keep falling off and cannot get up. Whoooa, you definitely ROCK !!!! Way to go !!!

Hey it's been awhile since you've hit 8 miles hasn't it? That's great it means you really are back in the swing!
Excellent! You are going to have a terrific 2008.
Great Job.
We always knew you rocked - I think you just forgot for a few minutes. I'm glad someone reminded you.
Agree--that's a great distance and time (says she who ran a similar time on Saturday). Go Nancy!
Cranky
Take it easy today and get some rest. Maybe run through some transition activities, but triple check your gear list to make sure you aren't "that girl" that's borrowing a helmet or something. :-) You're going to do great, and I wish I could tell you how good it's going to feel crossing that line as the world's newest triathlete!
Oh, and great job on the big 8!
You DO ROCK!!! 8 miles is great!!! You're on a roll girl!
Like you said - you rock! Keep it up!
8 miles -- you do rock. And after reading 46 other comments, clearly your blog rocks, too. Keep leading the way.
Now that is an AWESOME post!!!! Welcome back girl!
Yay!!
You do rock! You keep going, despite adversity. That's what counts. I said it before, and I mean it again, you have the potential to do great things with your running. Sometimes its just a matter of finding the right things to do! And you need to keep it in perspective with your abilities because then you don't get discouraged or too hard on yourself. I'm slow too and think I finally accepted this, but we're still here. We didn't let our slowness scare us off.
YAA on the 8 there is my homechick, Nancy! I have my first 8this weekend I have been waiting to use my lil number..LOL!
I hope you didn't carry me on ur back..u poor thing :-O
