ONE MORE RACE!!

My present to myself (to keep me running through the dead of winter) and to all of you??
ONE MORE VIRTUAL RACE...

More on this beautimous logo (created by the lovely and talented artist, Gretchen, at a heArt a day) and the race to come. For now, put February 9th on your calendars, try to squeeze in some runs during this crazy time, and have a HAPPY HOLIDAY!!

I hope you like your present!! Spread the word...

I'm in. This couldn't be more perfectly timed. I'm in a race on President's Day and this will fit in perfectly with my training.

I'm doing 13 on the 13th. Or if I'm brave 26 on the 13th. But, Javamom, Pokey and I are doing 10 soon, so maybe we'll count that. Or you could have a special category for the half marathoners next month.

Yipppppppppppeeeeeeeee! Thanks for the present, Nancy! :)

I'm with Pat....we will have to do something a bit different since the RNR Half is on Jan 13. My last run will be the weekend before and it will only be 6 miles.

Maybe we can pool a couple shorter runs?? Hmmmm....gotta think about that one for all the Rock N Rollers.

Well, that's half the 18 I'm suppose to do on that day so, if so I'm in.

Great logo! I think I'll be cheering from the side-bloglines on this one. I will be heading to Hawaii and recouping from my race. But.... there is a MAYBE if I am feeling good after my race. Stay tuned.

It looks like I'll be doing about 26-28 miles that day. So, if you'll have me, I'm in.

...there goes the extended rest period I had scheduled for February. Sigh. Where do I sign up? Maybe we can do something with the lack of water stations this time :).

If there are other RBF in the NYC, maybe we can meet together in Central Park?

First... I think everyone is a littel MIA this time of year. Love the photos!!!

I am in for the 9 on 9 and will do better with my race stats this time around.

Merry Christmas!

Alrighty, I'm in!

I was thinking about it the other day, and what we really should do is go in order of the months and days: 1 mile on Jan 1st, 2 miles on Feb 2nd, and so forth through the year. But 9 on the 9th works as well. I think that's a Wednesday, right?

Pokey said...

derrrrr....FEBRUARY 9!!! It would help if Pat and I could read :P

I think I'm a go....

Must. not. forget. this. time.

Yay, I'm thrilled! Also, srod (and anyone else in NYC): feel free to contact me and maybe we'll get a little non-virtual Central Park start together.

Are you trying to force me out of my no-plan plan?

Have a great holiday, Nancy.

I am so in. I have a 10mi long run scheduled for that weekend.

Tri+Umph said...

I'm totally in for this one. I should be able to run 9 miles by then!

Sweet Nancy

Thank you so much for keeping all of us runners so engaged. You do realize that it is just about impossible to say no to you, but I may not be able to participate in the 9 on the 9th. Myrtle Beach is on the 16th and I will be heavy into the taper at that point. Hmm... maybe I could split my 9 into a 5 and a 4 or something like that. I could take to the bike like Doug or Marcy, but fell off last time I tried so I will stay on 2 feet instead of 2 wheels... you know that whole lack of coordination thing.

Anyway, Happy holidays to you and your family!

Count me in!

I do have a race the weekend before, but I should be good to go for the 9th. :-)

See, it gets contagious! I will plan on it! How about a "Frozen 5k" in January?

Terrific idea Nancy!!! *flipping my calendar* I am going to mark this and count me in.
Hmmm.. We shall try 31 on the 31st sometimes! Just kidding!!!
