Freakishly Flexible 5k (FFFK) !!

Imagine my shock upon finding this!!!

I gasped, I laughed, I cried... you guys are so cool. USJogger set this up: a race in my honor!! I really don't know what to say. Thank you so much. I so wish I could run it with you. Go to his site for more details. I'm still cracking up that he used that picture and made a logo.
I am hanging in there. My surgery is March 6th. Thank you all so much for your prayers and kind words. All the support is really helping me.
I can't wait to see the outcome of FFFK.

Hi Nancy- I came across your blog from your post on POM's, I saw that you were going to be on crutches for 6 weeks (me too, yeah...not!), so I popped over to see what happened to you. First, I have to say that I read your last post and oh my gosh, how I can relate to everything you said that you would be missing, my eyes teared up, it was everything I have been feeling. Running was mine, it got me through what would have been the worst year of my life, it changed me, and I loved the "me" that I was becoming, and I certainly wasn't ready for my time with running to end or be put on hiatus.
3 years ago I tore the labrum in my shoulder and had to have it repaired, it was definitely an "involved" surgery and re-hab. I wish you the best of luck for a smooth surgery and recovery.

Running requires lots of energy, but gives you great pleasure! To provide my body with enough energy I am taking dietary supplements which were developed to enhance physical capacities of soldiers under the extreme conditions. These are special pre-workout supplements by Military Grade. This products can be ordered at amazon. They work perfect - just pure energy, right when I need it most. These products make me feel excellent; I often train outdoors, despite the weather. When your body is toned and your muscles prepared to work hard, you will never get blown with the wind!
