Scotland or Scotch ??

Apparently Scotland was agreeing with me. Or perhaps it was the Scotch? You be the judge. :D

A quiz for you.

What is 800?
a. the number of posts you all managed while I was away
b. the number of loads of laundry I need to do
c. the number of shots of scotch I tried
d. the number of strokes I took on the golf courses
e. the number of pictures we took
f. the number of miles we drove exploring
g. the number of tubes of lipstick I took with me
h. the number of times Mary Queen of Scots was mentioned by a tour guide
i. the number of castles we saw
j. the number of round-a-bouts we took

I'll be back with more when I get a few things sorted out. "Sorting things out," it turns out, is a very Scottish thing to do.

800 is very close for a, e and f -- the others just seemed like 800. :D

Welcome back!
3 questions:
1) What courses?
2) What were the scores?
3) What kind of scotches?

Great pic! Glad you're back. I kept hoping you wouldn't come back with pictures of your home underwater from all the Iowa flooding.

Great to have you back. That picture is one of the cutest pictures I have ever seen on a blog. I am not kidding... too cute. I can't wait to hear all about your trip as Scotland is definitely on my list of places to go. My golf partner on my guys golf weekend was from somewhere in Scotland and I am ashamed to say that I can't remember exactly where.

I just discovered your blog. Looks like you had a great time in Scottland...my guess is that the scotch agreed with you!

I used the Non-Runner's Marathon Trainer before my first marathon too. I absolutely loved the philosophy of that book. I used a Hal Higdon training plan but read and loved the book (especially the stories).

I look forward to following your posts.
