Leaving for Las Vegas

I had quite an eye opening evening regarding my future running plans, level of fitness and the direction I would like to/need to take. I plan to post in more detail regarding the epiphany in the coming days. Let's just say it involves a "before" picture. OMG.
Worked out today at the gym.
25 minutes on a killer stair climber. (The first 5 min was a 'fitness test' ~ It said my VO2 max was below normal.) Jerk.
1 minute plank. :D
Various leg and stomach machines and toning exercises. I'm guessing I will be sore. And that's a good thing.

Off to pack for Las Vegas. Did I mention poker?

Have fun in Vegas, Nancy!

I agree, that stair climber must have been one huge jerkface!

If I've learned anything in college, its that adding "face" to any insult makes it more insulting. Try it some time!

I'm gonna keep on the run
I'm gonna have me some fun
If it costs me my very last dime
If I wind up broke up well
I'll always remember that I had a swingin' time
I'm gonna give it everything I've got
Lady luck please let the dice stay hot
Let me shout a seven with every shot
Viva las vegas, viva las vegas,
Viva, viva las vegas

The first and last are the key...have a blast!

It's tradition, don't ya know. Put a one spot on 15 for me. Don't spend it all in one place ;-)

Enjoy Vegas!

That machine has to be wrong. Blame it on poor technology :-D

Way to go on the core/abs workout. I am still shying away from it. I did abs yesterday, and my neck is sore. Ugh!

Yeah...Vegas...Have a good time. As for running...I don't much like it either, but I do like the benefits so I keep at it.

I haven't gotten brave enough to attempt the stairmaster yet. My friend Kathy is a big fan, but it scares me :X

That "fitness test" was a bunch of crap if you ask me. You could never be "below normal"!

Just thinking about Vegas gets me excited. I love that place and the energy there is palpable.

Can't wait to see what your plans are for the future.

Have fun in Vegas. Hubby and I are super jealous your husband gets to go to the CES. We would love to go but haven't figured out a way to get his work to send him.
